The University of Virginia’s interdisciplinary program in Jewish Studies invites applicants for a non-tenure track appointment as Visiting Faculty in Israel Studies. Field of specialization within Israel Studies is open. Rank will be commensurate with rank at home institution. Duties include teaching two undergraduate courses per semester, delivering one public lecture, and service to the Jewish Studies Program, College of Arts & Sciences, and University.
Applicants must hold a PhD and currently be employed at an institution of higher learning with an academic title at the time of appointment.
