The Department of History, Anthropology, and Philosophy at the University of North Georgia, Dahlonega Campus, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Anthropology. Field specialization in Africa or the Middle East is preferred. Experience in Cultural Resource Management is a plus.

Review of applications will begin on November 30th and continue until filled.  The candidate must have a Ph.D. in hand by the start of the appointment in August 2015.  

The Assistant Professor will teach introductory level courses in Archaeology and Cultural Anthropology along with upper level courses for a total of 12 credit hours per semester; engaging in departmental, community, and university service; research and publication.
