Russian Central Asia and Eurasia since 1700.  The History Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Russian Central Asian/Eurasian history, beginning as early as 1 July 2013. Ph.D. preferred.  The Department seeks candidates who show exceptional promise as scholars, teachers, and mentors and who can teach courses that complement current offerings in Russian, Asian, and Islamic history.
