Desired expertise: Arabic literature, film, drama, or other cultural texts, from any historical period.Required Qualifications: Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Arab Studies, Comparative Literature or related field; native or near-native fluency in English and Arabic; advanced ABDs considered. Duties/Responsibilities:maintaining an active program of scholarly research; developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; advising students; contributing service appropriate for the rank of appointment to the department, college, University, and profession.
