University of California, Berkeley, the Department of History, seeks applications for a full-time faculty appointment at the rank of tenure-track assistant professor or tenured associate professor with a start date of July 1, 2013. The period and field of specialization in Middle Eastern history are open. Applications must include a detailed letter, a Curriculum Vitae, a representative sample of written scholarly work (an article, a book chapter, or a dissertation chapter), and three letters of reference.
