Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Comparative Politics or International Relations with a focus on the Middle East beginning August 15, 2013. The successful candidate will be joining a collegial and active faculty in the department of Political Science. Applicants should be dedicated teachers who work well with students from diverse backgrounds and who will be willing to contribute to the growing International Studies major and Middle Eastern Studies minor. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in college teaching, evidence of scholarship or scholarly potential, and a Ph.D. in Political Science by time of appointment are required. ABD’s will be considered if completion is expected within one year of employment.
