The Department of Political Science and the School of Policy and International Affairs (SPIA) at the University of Maine are seeking qualified candidates to fill a full-time, tenure-track academic-year faculty position in International Relations at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective September 1, 2014.

This is a 50/50 joint appointment in Political Science and SPIA.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Political Science with specialization in International Relations by date of hire required. Areas of primary specialization within IR are open. Expertise in the Middle East, Asia and/ or Latin America is highly desirable.
