A tenure track position in Middle Eastern Studies. Successful applicants will be nominated to early-career fellowships for ARAB scholars holding Israeli citizenship, administered and awarded by the Israeli Council of Higher Education (MAOF Fellowships, http://www.che.org.il). Fellowship winners will be granted a university position with full faculty responsibilities and are guaranteed tenure evaluation by the University.
Applicants to the position must have the Ph.D. and a demonstrable commitment to both teaching and research. The successful candidates will be expected to teach four courses per year (undergraduate, graduate), supervise theses, and carry usual nonteaching duties. Primary teaching language: Hebrew. Salary according to scale. Position beginning October 2014.
