The University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for the following faculty position beginning Fall 2012: Asian Studies Program (in cultural influences of Islam in South Asia) UMass Boston is a Carnegie-classified Research-high University located in one of the most diverse and intellectually rich cities of the United States. Its undergraduate and graduate enrollment of approximately 16,000 students makes it the second largest campus in the UMass system. Its eight colleges are composed of more than 950 full-time and part-time faculty in more than 170 academic programs leading to baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
