Temple University invites applicants for a visiting research appointment in Israel Studies for the 2012-2013 academic year. The position is open rank, and both senior and promising younger scholars from the U.S., Israel, or elsewhere are encouraged to apply. For 2012-2013, the Mirowski Visiting Professor is housed in Temple University’s History Department. The area of research specialization within the discipline of history is open.

The Mirowski Visiting Professor teaches one course per semester in the History Department. The scholar is provided with a generous research budget and also funds to plan a public event for the broader Temple community related to his/her research interests. Salary is very competitive.
