Princeton University’s Department of Near Eastern Studies invites applications for a tenure
track position in the history of medieval Iran. Research expertise may be in any period of the
history of Iran and the Persian-speaking world between 1000 and 1800. The successful
candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in this field and to
provide training to graduate students reading primary sources in the original Persian.
