I’m writing to let you know about a post-doc opportunity at the Georgetown University Center for Contemporary Arab Studies that would be a great fit for students at the Carolina Center for the Study of the Middle East and Muslim Civilizations. The purpose of the American Druze Foundation Post-Doctoral Fellowship is to promote specialized social scientific research on the Druze communities centrally and primarily, and on collective political and cultural identities in the Arab world more generally. We are looking for all types of candidates and provide research funds in addition to an annual stipend. The application is due on February 15th, 2016. More information and a link to the application can be found at our website.
