Join Duke History, DUMESC and DISC for a public book talk from 12:00 – 1:00 PM ET with Sami Moubayed titled ” The Makers of Modern Syria 1918-1958: The Rise and Fall of Syrian Democracy 1918-1958.”

 

Sami Moubayed is a Syrian historian and former Carnegie scholar. He is also author of Under the Black Flag: At the frontier of the New Jihad.
