Join local Iranian photographer Sia Yazdanfar as he discusses his current exhibition at the Thomas Stevens Gallery, named Restless Anahita, honoring the women of Iran. Through photographs drawn from the artist’s 2022 treks to the region, as well as never before seen selections from previous years, Persian, Arab, Kurdish, Baluch, Turkemen, & Bandari worn fabrics & patterns will each be spotlighted, with people photographed both in their daily lives as well as non-traditional settings.
