6:30 pm: Screening of the documentary Men on the Edge: Fishermen’s Diary followed by a discussion with the filmmaker (free and open to the public. Nelson Mandela Auditorium, the FedEx Building)

 

Men on the Edge: Fishermen’s Diary

a film by Avner Faingulernt and Macabit Abramson (2005, 90 min.)

 

The documentary, shot from 1999 to 2003, provides an intimate look at the delicate and fragile coexistence between Gazan fishermen and Israeli settlers who work together at the sea.
