Public Talk: “Hip hop, Islam and Enlightenment” with Mona Haydar

Mona Haydar is a Syrian-American rapper, activist and artist. Haydar will be giving a talk that is open to the public on Wednesday, March 20 at 6 p.m. in Webb Conference Center (located in the campusGreek Village). Haydar’s talk, titled “Hip hop, Islam and Enlightenment,” will focus on her spiritual activism and the merging of her faith, her feminism, and her music.
