Lecture: Juhood Spotlight: Roisin Tapponi

Join Juhood Magazine for our Juhood Spotlight event featuring Roisin Tapponi. Tapponi is a curator, writer, editor, and researcher based in London. In 2018, she founded Habibi Collective, a digital archive and curatorial platform for women’s filmmaking from the Middle East and North Africa. She is currently developing the first independent streaming service for MENA cinema, SHASHA Movies Ltd. Tapponi will talk about contemporary MENA cinema with a focus on on women’s cinema, oral histories and the archive as well as discuss her work with Habibi Collective.
