Lecture: FedEx GEC’s 15th Anniversary & Frederick W. Smith

In honor of the 15th anniversary of the FedEx Global Education Center’s opening, UNC is excited to host Frederick W. Smith, founder and executive chairman of FedEx Corporation. Smith, who developed the idea for FedEx during his undergraduate years, will make the case for re-engaging on free trade agreements, offering his insights into supporting sustainable global trade and managing threats to open global order. Smith will be joined by Barbara Stephenson, vice provost for global affairs and former U.S. ambassador. The lecture will have a reception with snacks to follow.
