“Iraq Invasion, Intended or Unintended Consequences” with Dr. Shakir Jawad. (Saddam Hussain’s Physician, Ex-President of Iraq)
Dr. Shakir Jawad is a Senior Global Health Advisor at Henry M Jackson Foundation and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Maryland. After the invasion of Iraq in 2003, Dr. Jawad worked as a Director General in the Iraqi Ministry of Health and then as an acting deputy Minister of Health. He was also the physician of the Ex-president of Iraq, Saddam Hussain after 2003 while Hussain was in prison.
