Gathering: “Ferdowski Student Prize Celebration and CMEIS Social Cafe”

Join us to celebrate this year’s prize winners, and to socialize with current students, faculty and staff at the UNC Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies. John Miller (Religious Studies) will present “Prophetology and Religious Epistemology in Iran Humanistic Approaches to Revelation and their Jurisprudential Entailments”. Alya Suayah (Political Science & Women’s Studies) presents “Vulnerabilityas Subversion in the Poetry of Forugh Farrokhzad”. Food and refreshments will be served.
