Dr. Mateo Mohammad Farzaneh is associate professor of history at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. A multiple award-winner for his scholarship and service, Dr. Farzaneh’s The Iranian Constitutional Revolution and the Clerical Leadership of Khurasani won the National History Honor Society’s Best First Book in 2016, and his Iranian Women and Gender in the Iran-Iraq War received the Latifeh Yarshater Honorable Mention by the Association for Iranian Studies in 2022.
