CONCERT

Join us for a night of music and poetry as our guest musician from Beirut, Raffi Chilingirian, will play the Armenian duduk (wind instrument) while our faculty will read Arabic, Turkish, and Persian poetry. After the music and poetry performance, we will have a panel discussion on the significance of duduk for Armenian heritage and the diaspora, the ways that duduk has traveled to other countries in the Middle East, and how music and poetry serve as great means of crossing borders and bridging cultures.
