The Department of Political Science and Policy Studies at Elon University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Middle East Politics, beginning in August 2016. The successful candidate will teach introductory courses in comparative politics and/or international relations, and an upper-level course in Middle East Politics. Candidates should demonstrate commitment to teaching in a liberal arts environment, potential to teach interdisciplinary courses in Elon’s Core Curriculum and International Studies major, ability to supervise undergraduate research in independent studies and senior seminars, and an active scholarship agenda.
