The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in Comparative Politics, beginning August 2014. The department has 16 tenure lines supporting major programs in Political Science, International Affairs, Public Law & Government, Public Administration, and Public Safety Administration. There is also a NASPAA-accredited MPA program.

Review of applications will begin October 15, 2013, and the position will remain open until filled. All applications must be made online at – Posting 1417E. A complete application should include curriculum vitae, graduate transcripts, at least three current letters of reference, samples of scholarship, course syllabi, and evidence
of teaching effectiveness.
