The Department of Religion at Claremont Graduate University invites applications for a chaired professorship in Islamic Studies. Rank and research specialization are open. In addition to anchoring an MA-level program in Islamic Studies, the successful candidate will teach courses and help mentor master’s and doctoral-level students in one or more of the following concentrations: Religions of North America; Women’s Studies in Religion; Critical Comparative Scriptures; and Philosophy of Religion and Theology. Ph.D. in Religious Studies or related field must be in hand before August 2013.
