Students and faculty from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, can now watch 32 outstanding films that offer entertainment and insights on Persian Culture for free, thanks to a grant from the Roshan Cultural Heritage Institute. The 32 films include award winning narrative feature films by directors such as Majid Majidi (The Color of Paradise and Baran) and Dariush Mehrjui (Mum’s GuestShirakThe MixMr. GullibleThe LodgersSara and The Lady).  Each film is introduced by a scholar who places the film within its proper cultural and historical context. To access the films, students and faculty are encouraged to visit here and sign in with the following password: nc-ch. The films are instantly available to view 24/7 for free through July 3, 2013.
