Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Modern Arabic Literature and Culture. This position is for the 2016-2017 academic year. The post-doctoral fellow will be assigned a faculty mentor; will be expected to teach two courses per semester: the seminar in advanced Arabic (equivalent to fourth year) and a course in modern Arabic literature in the fall and contemporary Middle Eastern culture in the spring, as well as conduct research in his/her area of Arabic literature and culture. The Fellowship includes salary plus benefits for the nine-month academic year.
Candidates from universities both within and outside the United States are welcome to apply.
