University of Pennsylvania, the Department of Religious Studies, invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral teaching fellowship in the study of Islam and gender in modern Asia. Subfields and methodologies are open as is the specific geographic and cultural region. Fellows will teach one course per term. Eligibility is limited to applicants who will have received their Ph.D. within two years prior to the time they begin their fellowship at Penn (August, 2011 or later).
