The Center of Governance and Public Policy (CGPP) invites applicants for full-time Assistant or Associate professor (Research) position in the general fields of public policy and governance. We seek applicants who have at least 2 to 3 years of post-Ph.D. research experience with emphasis on democracy, governance, and public policy. The successful applicant will have strong understanding of Islam and the Middle East and will be expected to conduct substantive research in his or her area of expertise while teaching up to three graduate courses per year. Preference is for this appointment to start January 1st, 2013, but a later start is an option.

CGPP is a program of Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies and member of Qatar Foundation. Successful candidates will receive a generous package that includes a monthly salary commensurate with experience, along with health insurance and housing and car allowance. Successful candidates are required to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
