The Political Science and International Relations Department at Istanbul Sehir University invites applications for a full-time position in Comparative Politics and International Relations, focusing on Middle East Politics. The rank is open. The position will start in September 2013. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. from an accredited institution and demonstrate excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching, the ability to maintain a dynamic scholarly productivity, and a willingness to be active in service to the university. The successful applicant will teach two or three courses per semester at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Istanbul Sehir University (SEHİR) is a newly founded, private institution owned by the Foundation for Sciences and Arts based in Istanbul, Turkey, which has been dedicated to research and teaching in social sciences and humanities for the last 25 years. Building on a quarter-century of experience in education and research, SEHİR aims to be an elite research university in the whole region. The medium of instruction is English.
