The Department of Politics and International Relations invites applications to fill a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. We seek a scholar engaged in comparative politics research with a focus on the Middle East. Subject to budget availability, the start date will be on or about August 26, 2012. Applicants should have an International Relations/Studies or Political Science Ph.D. or expect to have it by the start date. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching and mentoring both undergraduate and graduate students in political science and international relations. The Department is home to more than 1,600 undergraduate majors, over 100 graduate students, and 40 full-time faculty in the School of International and Public Affairs.
