The Balfour Declaration Forum

Cemil Aydin, PhD, Professor of Modern Middle East History, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will discuss factors that led up to the Balfour Declaration.
Sarah Shields, PhD, Professor, Director of Graduate Studies, Department of History, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will discuss consequences of the Balfour Declaration for Israeli colonization and the Occupation.
Mubarak Awad, PhD, Adjunct professor, School of International Service at American University, Washington DC, founder of the Palestine Center for the Study of Nonviolence in Jerusalem and Nonviolence International, will discuss future implications for the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean and what activists should do now.
Program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Donations appreciated.
