Public Talk: The Palestine Exception to Free Speech: A Movement Under Attack

Join UNC Students for Justice in Palestine in welcoming attorney Rahul Saksena from Palestine Legal, an independent organization dedicated to protecting the rights of those who speak out for Palestinian freedom. Mr. Saksena will discuss the legal challenges as they pertain to recent bills proposed and passed by a number of states (including North Carolina) and the federal government forbidding state-contracted companies from boycotting Israel.
