Film Screening: “Blood and Oil”

Join the Global Studies Students Association for the Middle East installment of this semester’s documentary series! Anyone interested in learning and understanding the timeline of events that has lead us to the modern day conflict in the Middle East should watch this film created by Marty Callaghan. ‘Blood and Oil’ is a detailed account about the motivation behind the birth of the Middle Eastern nations and the insatiable greed for oil. It examines the devastating conflicts and Western political intrigue that laid the foundation for wars, coups, revolts and military interventions in the Middle East. The screening is on Monday Feb. 25 at 6:30 in the Global Education Center room 3024. Refreshments and snacks will be provided
