‘Arabi Arts Camp
June 17, 2019 - June 21, 2019
Join teacher and storyteller Samia Touati, to explore art, culture and language from the Middle East and North Africa, with focus on Morocco. Samia is passionate about sharing her life experiences from her upbringing, interdisciplinary training and travels. Enjoy stories, songs, poems and arts from the ancient Arab world, including Arabic calligraphy, la cuisine Marocaine, cooked on clay pots, Moroccan tea ceremony, and henna. Experience the sounds and flavors and delights of the ancient cities of al-Maghrib! For children 8-12 years old.
