The Political Science Department at Bryn Mawr College seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start on August 1, 2016 in Comparative Politics. We are interested in candidates with a primary regional expertise in the Middle East/North Africa but would consider applicants whose work additionally links to other areas of the Global South. We would be open to any substantive focus except military security and counter-terrorism. The successful applicant will demonstrate the potential to excel in both research and undergraduate teaching. Candidates must have completed all Ph.D. requirements by the start date.  Candidates should submit as pdf documents a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a letter describing their teaching philosophy and research interests, teaching evaluations, and a writing sample to the Political Science Search Committee via Interfolio at: by September 30, 2015.  Candidates should arrange for three letters of recommendation to be submitted separately via Interfolio to the Political Science Search Committee.
